Conte Tipped an English Club for Champions League Glory
When he was the manager of Chelsea, Conte predicted that the winner of the UCL in 2017/18 season was going to be an English club.
His prediction was because the representatives of the EPL in the group stage of the UCL did amazing. Four English teams won their groups and Chelsea qualified for the knockout rounds.
This was why the Conte tips for the UCL featured a win for an English team. Well, that did not come true. Chelsea were eliminated from the UCL by Barcelona in the round of 16 and Real Madrid beat Liverpool 3-1 in the final to win their third UCL title.

Conte Backed Inter Milan to Win Serie A
In February 2022, we saw another manifestation of Conte Tips when Antonio Conte was asked if Inter Milan would defend the Serie A, a title he had helped them win just previously.
Conte said the club will finish as champions. According to him, the squad is good enough to retain the Scudetto – his prediction was based on his knowledge of the team and the players.
This Conte prediction did not go as planned.
The title race was close until the end and AC Milan edged past Inter to win their 19th Italian championship.
Conte believed they could win and they did challenge for the title.
The prediction remains one of the clearest examples of Conte getting a league winner wrong. His comments were documented by The Cult of Calcio, while Serie A records confirm Milan’s 2021/22 triumph.
Conte Predicted Harry Kane Would Break Records
Conte did not get his assumptions and predictions wrong all the time. One of the most accurate Conte tips was when he predicted that Harry Kane was going to break a lot of records at Tottenham.
This was back in January 2023 and Harry Kane was about to break Jimmy Greaves club record of 266 goals.
Conte believed that beyond that record, Kane had the mentality to do more than that.
A month after, Kane scored the winning goal against Manchester City which was his 267th goal for the club that helped him break the record that had stood for 50+ years.
After this, Kane did not stay long at Tottenham as he made a big money move to Bayern Munich where he is still smashing records. The Englishman left Tottenham with 280 goals in 435 appearances and as England’s top goalscorer, while moving 2nd place on the Premier League’s all-time scoring list.
Conte Believed Napoli Could Fight for the Scudetto
Perhaps the strongest of Conte tips was when he predicted that Napoli could win the Scudetto in the 2024/2025 season.
This came after Napoli drew 1-1 with Inter Milan in March of 2025.
Conte said that his team showed quality and the kind of personality that is needed to win the Scudetto.
At the time, Napoli were a single point behind Inter but there were 11 matches remaining.
Conte’s assessment proved to be very accurate.
The title race went to the final matchday. Napoli had a one point advantage and beat Cagliari 2-0 with goals from McTominay and Romelu Lukaku sealing the league title.
Despite Inter winning their final game, the one-point advantage meant that Napoli still had the league. Consequently, the win ensured that Conte became the first manager to win the Serie A with Juventus, Inter and Napoli.
Should Football Fans Trust Conte Tips?
Conte’s predictions deserve attention because they come from a manager who understands tactics, players and the pressure of competing for major trophies. His assessment of a title race may reveal details that are not immediately visible in the league table.
However, Conte’s comments should not be treated as guaranteed betting advice. Managers sometimes use press conferences to motivate their players, reduce pressure on their teams or place pressure on opponents. Personal relationships and loyalty to former clubs can also affect their opinions.
