It was generally expected that Senne Lemmens, United’s latest signing would be making his debut against Manchester City but Amorim believes Altay Bayindir is best suited for the fixture.
In his pre-match conference this afternoon, Amorim said “I believe in Altay. He is ready to play and he is going to play.”
City on the other hand have confirmed that Donnarumma is primed to begin the fixture in goal. During Pep’s press conference, he was full of praises for the Italian and it is clear the “huge” shot-stopper would be taking James Trafford’s place between the sticks.
